This month The Teacher’s Magazine goes deep down into mysteries with a didactic unit called Mysterious World and a board game which will lead your students through mysterious places like Stonehenge and mysterious stories and myths such as the Yeti and El Dorado among others.
Children will have fun with Grey’s Afraid, a poem about a monster who is not scary but scared, and a Mystery Box that will be useful when revising or learning vocabulary.
Learning about Greek Mythology will help intermediate students understand the influence Greek myths still have on modern culture.
Finally, the Global Culture Corner section will have the students spot similarities and differences between two celebrations: Halloween and the Day of the Dead.
We hope you enjoy this issue, and make the most of it!
